Impact Project 2006-2008

Efforts will enhance campus infrastructure with outreach to underrepresented populations, building campus-community partnerships, and developing student and faculty interest. Funds will be used to develop a resource center housing publications, research and funding opportunities, and portfolios of local projects. Through faculty funding, service-learning will be integrated into the curriculum and provide faculty with resources to sustain civic engagement. Student surveys and data collection will show the results of the program on student impact and retention. Video portfolios of the projects will be posted on the website and housed in the resource center along with publicity materials, the symposium program, and posters.
