Impact Project 2006-2008

The FSU Sustainable Campus and Community Initiative (SC&C) will build on the Garnet and Gold Goes Green! Recycling Program to expand on the vision of a sustainable campus and community. The four best sustainable campus/community project proposals will receive funding for planning and implementation. The SC&C will also develop a strategic plan to identify topics to be addressed, what actions will be taken, and the logistics, including resources, obstacles, and evaluations. An inventory of community-based research and service projects will allow students and faculty to search for project ideas. Co-sponsorship with FL/CC and SC&C Institute will be promoted on a local and national basis, and will consist of presentations by the funding recipients and other service-learning scholars.
