Call for Presenters
Areas of Emphasis
The Florida Institute on Service-Learning and Engaged Scholarship will convene practitioners from around Florida to present innovative programming, methodological and theoretical understanding, and developing school/campus infrastructure related to aspects of service-learning and engaged scholarship from K-12 through higher education. Conference sessions will explore a broad range of topics in the implementation and advancement of service-learning and engaged scholarship.
Proposals should focus on program descriptions, program evaluations and assessments, or "how-to" strategies that advance the nature, quality, and/or quantity of service-learning and engaged scholarship in K-20 schools in Florida.
Deadline for Receipt of Proposals to Present
To be considered, all proposals must be received via electronic submission by 5:00 p.m. (EST) June 16, 2008. All proposals will be evaluated by at least two reviewers, and notification of the results of review will be sent by mid-July.
